Please join us for National Postdoc Appreciation Day celebrations at UMDNJ/Rutgers. This day will be the local event commemorating National Postdoc Appreciation Week (NPAW). NPAW is observed across the nation during the week of September 20th – 24th to acknowledge the significant contributions of postdocs to the U.S. scientific research community. The PDA is pleased to announce that the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB) is a joint host for the symposium this year. All postdoc and graduate student attendees will receive free membership in ASBMB for one year.
If you would like to attend the UMDNJ/Rutgers celebrations, we request you to register to ensure that we have enough food and seating. Registration is free. In addition to postdocs, all faculty, students and administrators are welcome!

If you are a postdoc and you would like present your work, please submit an abstract at http://www.asbmb.org/pagesm.aspx?id=8124. We are accepting abstract for both oral or poster presentations. Please note that for oral presenters, we request that your mentor introduce you before your presentation. This is a NJ-wide event, and postdocs from all disciplines are invited to present their work.
Abstract Deadline is September 10th, 2010.
