Our laboratory is interested in deciphering how environmental stimuli trigger a network of signaling cascades inside the cell. How are growth cues such as nutrients and hormones antagonized by stress signals and thus how is cellular fate decided?  We aim to understand how derangement of cellular signals can lead to diseases such as cancer, diabetes, and immune-related disorders.
