Education
The
Robert Wood Johnson Medical School courses, Cell Biology and Histology,
Gross and Developmental Anatomy and Neuroscience, enroll approximately
170-200 students each, including medical, graduate and Physician Assistant
Program students. The Cell Biology and
Histology course presents the students with the structure and function
of the cells, tissues and organs of the body. The study of Gross
and Developmental Anatomy provides students with an essential understanding
of the structure of the human body upon which the students will build
the remainder of his or her medical education. The objectives of the Neuroscience course are to teach the students basic neuroanatomy and the function
of the human central nervous systems.
