Undergraduate Research

Many of our faculty accept undergraduate students into their labs to provide a hands-on research experience. Rutgers undergraduates are able to do research for credit (see the MBB, Genetics, Biology or Biotehcnology websites for details), and others may apply for summer research opportunities.  Interested students should contact the faculty member directly for more information.

Rutgers students who are part of the Federal Work Study Program should check the Student Employment Listings for research opportunities in this department.

RISE at Rutgers/UMDNJ

The Research in Science and Engineering (RISE) program is a summer research program for undergraduate students. The purpose of the program is to increase diversity in the science, mathematics and engineering fields.
