Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School student named 2015 Tillman Scholar


The Research & Development Council of New Jersey will honor Peter Lobel, PhD (left), and David Sleat, PhD (right), with one of the 2015 Edison Patent Awards, for an invention that is directed to methods of treatment of neuronal ceroid lipofuscinoses (NCLs), a group of related hereditary neuro- degenerative disorders affecting infants, children and adults, for which there is currently no available therapy.
