American Academy of Dermatology Diversity Mentorship Program

Description:

The American Academy of Dermatology would like to reach out to first- through fourth-year medical students from ethnically and socioeconomically diverse backgrounds to gain exposure to the specialty of dermatology by providing a first hand one-on-one mentorship experience with the dermatologist of the student's choice.  Medical students commonly participate in this mentorship program in the summer months; however there is some flexibility in accommodating the student's schedule.  The program must be completed by December 1 of the program year that the grant is awarded.
