Medical Education Building
The Medical Education Building (MEB) houses many of the school's clinical education programs, including faculty offices, research laboratories, classrooms, a biomedical library, and a vivarium. The building contains over 100,000 square feet of space and houses and contains teaching space for third and fourth year medical students and house officer training programs. Included are a 200-seat auditorium, two 75-seat seminar rooms, conference and discussion facilities, a student lounge, and on-call rooms.
The Medical Education Building also contains a major library facility which operates in conjunction with UMDNJ's George F. Smith Library and the Library of Science and Medicine of Rutgers University. This library serves students, housestaff, faculty and community physicians.
