Medical Biochemistry

Course Overview

The Biological Chemistry course will help students understand the biochemical basis of healthy and disease conditions for the practice of medicine. Students will acquire foundational knowledge in the structure and function of biomolecules to aid in the acquisition of knowledge in other biomedical disciplines. This course includes lecture presentations, small group discussion sessions, clinical patient presentations, review sessions and individual student consultations with faculty.
