Employment Specialist:
Introductory Level

This two-day entry level course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills needed to provide effective, efficient supports to individuals seeking integrated employment. Participants will learn the skills needed to establish relationships with employers; perform job development activities; conduct functional assessments of employee skills; provide employee training; and develop workplace modifications and natural supports. |

This two-day workshop is designed to provide experienced supported employment professionals with in-depth and sophisticated knowledge and skills to provide effective supports for individuals seeking integrated employment. Participants will learn a variety of strategies for job development and job matching; designing intervention plans; efficient time and resource management; service evaluation; and professional “survival skills.” |

Prerequisite: Completion
of Introductory Level Training
