Train the Trainer: Cultural Diversity and Cultural Competence

Do you do training for service agencies in cultural diversity and cultural competence? Have you been asked to and are not sure how to begin? This workshop will be provide a key overview of issues and strategies for cultural competence training and provide a day for sharing exercises, resources, and training outlines by a number of people who are doing cultural competence and diversity training. The facilitator for the day will be Dr. Anita Mclean, Psy.D, Training Coordinator for Counseling and Psychological Services, University Health Services, at Princeton University, with assistance by Bill Gaventa at The Boggs Center and others who have led cultural competence trainings. Sponsored in collaboration with the New Jersey Statewide Network on Cultural Competence. Registration is limited.
