Sonia Patil is an Instructor of Pediatrics at the Elizabeth M. Boggs Center on Developmental Disabilities. The Boggs Center is located in New Brunswick, New Jersey and is part of the University of Medicine and Dentistry - Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Department of Pediatrics.
In her role at the Boggs Center, Sonia provides training and technical assistance to schools involved in the NJ Positive Behavior Supports in Schools project, a partnership between the New Jersey State Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs, and The Boggs Center.
Sonia is completing her doctorate in School Psychology from Michigan State University . She has experience working in schools providing direct and indirect services to children to facilitate their academic, behavioral and social-emotional well-being. Sonia has taught undergraduate courses in educational psychology and conducted trainings for school personnel. She has also presented at national and local conferences including the National Association of School Psychologists and the American Psychological Association.
