Welcome New Faculty and Staff
Ziba Arjmand, B.S.
Ziba Arjmand is the Data Analyst at The Boggs Center. Ziba
will assist with data collection and analysis, report preparation, databases and web sites and computers and related equipment. Ziba came to The Boggs Center from UMDNJ-University Behavioral Healthcare, Department of Finance. She earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management from the Kean University.
Lauren Elkinson, B.A.
Lauren Elkinson is a Research Assistant at The Boggs Center. She is a graduate of Lafayette College in Easton, PA, and is currently a second year student in the School Psychology doctoral program at the Rutgers University Graduate School for Applied and Professional Psychology. In her role at The Boggs Center, Lauren will be working as a family interventionist through a National Institute of Health grant, providing support and training to families of children with developmental disabilities. She will be working with Sharon Lohrmann, Ph.D., to develop Positive Behavioral Support plans to meet the needs of the participants.
Congratulations Boggs Center Interdisciplinary Trainees
Congratulations to Ella Hurley, Theresa Neidich, Jillian Stein, and Melody Steinman on their completion of The Boggs Center's Traineeship program.
Jillian Stein and Theresa Neidich also completed their field placements for Rutgers School of Social Work at The Boggs Center. They graduated with their Master of Social Work degrees in May 2006.

Deborah Spitanik, Ph.D., Executive Director of The Boggs Center, was interviewed by UMDNJ magazine for an article entitled "A Changing World for the Developmentally Disabled" for the Fall/Winter issue. The cover of the magazine shows a photo of Deborah with Matthew Byra. The article highlights issues in developmental disabilities as well as the work of The Boggs Center.
