Kate Handville, EdS
Kate Handville is a Training and Consultation Specialist at The Boggs Center. She provides training and technical assistance to schools involved in the NJ Positive Behavior Support in Schools project, a partnership between the New Jersey State Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs, and The Boggs Center. Kate earned her Master of Arts Degree in School Psychology and Educational Specialist Certification from Rowan University. As a trained school psychologist, Kate has worked with school-aged students in an Abbott district and has extensive experience in the areas of assessment, counseling, behavioral supports, and consultation. Kate has worked with students dealing with a range of cognitive, emotional, and behavioral disabilities, and has helped to design interventions that meet students’ individual needs. In addition to her experience as a school psychologist, Kate has worked as a facilitator of a program designed to strengthen families, where she worked directly with children to reinforce social skills.
