Welcome to the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School strategic planning web site. On this site you will find core documents and information regarding the strategic planning process. The goal of the strategic planning steering committee is to engage all segments of the RWJMS community leading to a shared articulated vision that supports the mission of the medical school through an open and transparent process.

On this website, you will find the timeline for the strategic initiative, minutes from the steering committee meetings a PowerPoint presentation describing and outlining the strategic planning process and progress reports on the 2005-2009 strategic planning efforts.  

You will also find the results of the iPlan survey from the summer of 2009 and iPlan2 survey results from the summer of 2010 that solicited input from all members of the RWJMS community as well as the one- and three-year departmental objectives, Path A responses, feedback from the focus groups that were conducted in the spring of 2010, and Strategic Planning Goals and Strategies. In addition, the UMDNJ-Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences External Review Report also is available.
